There is no limit set on the handicaps for this league
Team captains are responsible for the eligibility and attendance of the team.
If, at the commencement of bowling, a team is incomplete then the following options may be used:
Option 1 - Request the opposing captain, who at his/her discretion may allow a short period of time for a player to arrive.
Option 2 - Commence bowling along with the rest of the league on the assumption that the late player will arrive before completion of the fifth frame by the opposing team. In the event that a player does not arrive by this time then a blind score shall be used in his/her place
New bowlers must be registered with the league Secretary & Bowling Alley at least 24 hours prior to their bowling.
No new bowlers may be registered to a team during the last 6 weeks of the league.
Teams will bowl each week for a total of 8 points.
2 points for each game and 2 points for the highest aggregate handicap total.
A blind score will be used for the following circumstances:
When a team cannot field 3 bowlers
. If any player is not ready to bowl after the fifth frame of any game.
. If a player is taken ill during the game.
The blind score is set at 110 and will be added by the bowling centre’s computer.
To qualify for any trophy and prize bowlers must bowl a minimum of 7 Matches games
(21 Games).
If a bowler to the right of your lane is on the approach ready to bowl, give way to that bowler.
Once the bowler has bowled you can then step onto the approach and bowl. Also if the bowler to your left is taking their spare ball, give way to them.
PLEASE OBSERVE LANE ETIQUETTE AT ALL TIMES.
